We would not have been able to enjoy the successes and progress we’ve been able to make in Flint, Mexico, or Africa if it weren’t for the generous support of faculty and staff at Kettering who buy t-shirts, attend benefit dinners, and use payroll deduction to assist us in our work. We are also grateful to Emerson Climate Technologies, the Sunshine Rotary of Flint, and the General Motors Foundation for their financial support.
We are also grateful to the Carter Foundation and the Home Depot Foundation for their support of our wheelchair ramps program. If you would like to explore ways in which you or your organization can assist Kettering’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders, please contact Dr. Laura Sullivan in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Kettering.
For international projects, cash donations, airfare discounts and/or vouchers, frequent flier miles, PVC pipe, water test equipment, first aid supplies, warm blankets.
For our wheelchair ramp project, we can use donated cordless drills, cut-off saws, and a post-hold digger. We’d also benefit from any financial donations to help cover the costs of lumber and fasteners.
